Sweet Pea has a case of milk fever…lack of calcium in the system…hard to get up.
In the background you can hear Willy, the peacock , marching around the barn…he knows something is going on.
The new momma will most likely be up and eating in just a few minutes. I voted, and me, myself and I decided it is Ed’s turn to check on her before going to bed. I usually do the middle of the night cow checks when there is a chance of a birth.
